Japanese Tansu

Please help me identify a Japanese antique? I have an old Japanese lock, and I am trying to determine precisely when and where it came from, and any other pertinent information about it. So far I have determined that it is probably a tansu lock, and by its type it is pre-17th century, quite probably much older.
